HAGEN HILDERHOF

Constructivism par excellence.

“My works are based on the aesthetic of predictable forms as an objectified form of expression. My aim is to discover a self-organizing structure that I can also shape through additions and reductions.” Hagen Hilderhof

Hagen Hilderhof, one of Germany’s most important Constructivist sculptors of the present, fascinates us with his beautiful geometric artworks. Originally his sculptures emerged from intense research in the field of mathematic rhombohedrons, their variable basic form and its modification. Later, he succeeded in creating a range and variety of sculptures that are impressive not only for their precise construction and design, but also for their aesthetic beauty.
